What Drives Color Trends?
Top 2026 Color Trends for Events
A. Transformative Teal
Transformative Teal walks the line between cool and warm, masculine and feminine, calming and energizing. It’s bold enough to stand out as a statement but refined enough to serve as a grounding backdrop. Its transitional nature makes it highly versatile and timeless.
B. Warm Eucalyptus
Warm Eucalyptus sits somewhere between sage and olive – a serene, mid-tone green that feels cozy and organic. It invites a sense of relaxation and quiet elegance, making it well-suited for both indoor and outdoor events.
Uplight one of our white, pearl, or cream drapes with a soft green wash to reflect the natural calm of Warm Eucalyptus. This pairing brings the outside in – perfect for wellness events, eco-conscious weddings, and serene receptions that seek to inspire presence and peace.
C. Hidden Gem
Hidden Gem has the calming energy of green with the sophistication of deep blue. It’s a moody, jewel-toned shade that elevates any space, lending a sense of luxury and intention. It works beautifully as either a main color or a layered accent.
Try Hunter Velvet, a drapery style perfect for galas and upscale affairs. Rich and textural, it creates a dramatic backdrop that photographs beautifully and adds an unmistakable sense of luxe.

Behind the Curtain: Meet the Turn of Events Productions Team
10/01/25
We sat down with five of our incredible team members to give you a behind-the-scenes look at what goes into making your events seamless and spectacular. From fabrication to delivery to operations, meet a few of the people who bring the magic to life.
Brian – Shipping & Receiving: The Backbone of Event Readiness
As the person responsible for shipping and receiving, Brian ensures that every drape and décor item arrives on time and in perfect condition.
“I start off my day contacting clients,” Brian explains. “That way, they always have a heads-up and the right paperwork. We also triple-check our drapes and products, making sure they’re flawless.”
During busy seasons, Brian and the team handle a whirlwind of logistics.
“We flip things fast. One event ends, and we’re already cleaning and prepping for the next. Everything is on a schedule, and we stick to it.”
What might surprise people about Brian’s role is just how hands-on and collaborative it is.
“There’s a lot of physical work involved,” he says. “But we’ve got a strong team. No one just sits back. If I can do it, we all can.”
Kendall – Delivery: The Final Impression
Kendall is the last point of contact before the magic happens at an event. For him, delivery isn’t just about dropping off equipment – it’s about setting the tone.
“The final delivery experience adds to the overall impression,” he says. “It’s the last chance to make sure everything looks and feels professional before the event begins.”
What many people don’t see is the behind-the-scenes precision required to make deliveries run smoothly.
“There’s more paperwork than people think. Trip sheets, mileage logs…and you’ve got to be tuned in to your vehicle. Little noises can be a big deal,” Kendall notes. “Communication and knowing your vehicle are crucial.”
Working in Las Vegas means contending with extreme weather, too.
“I always have a frozen water bottle ready. Hydration is non-negotiable out here,” he adds.
As for traffic? “You don’t get used to it,” Kendall laughs. “You stay calm, stay professional, and just figure it out. Every day is a new adventure.”
Alina – Seamstress & Fabrication: The Art Behind the Drapes
Every elegant fold and pleat starts with Alina’s skilled hands. With a lifetime of experience working with heavy materials, she brings unmatched craftsmanship to every piece.
“I started sewing with this kind of material when I was nine,” she shares. “It’s different from clothing. Here, we have to be very specific – pleated, flat, always heavy. The details matter.”
When asked if she has a favorite fabric, she smiles: “No – I work with anything. I love it all.”
Before joining Turn of Events Productions, Alina honed her skills fabricating military tents and vinyls. Now, she regularly crafts over 100 large-scale drapes in a week, sometimes up to 80 feet tall.
“We’re very careful with our work, whether it’s being rented or sold. The customer’s vision always comes first.”
Rick W. – Assistant Coordinator: Bringing a Theatrical Touch to Coordination
As Assistant Coordinator, Rick W. plays a key role in keeping the flow moving and supporting the team behind the scenes.
“On a typical day I follow up on leads and quotes that are already out, as well as researching companies and looking things up on the internet. Then I respond to people asking for orders or quotes,” Rick W. shares.
His path to Turn of Events is a creative one.
“I was a performer for many years, Broadway-style shows. I met Armine while working at a restaurant. I’d been in front of pipe and drape for years and done trade shows, so I was somewhat familiar with the industry. I bring a theatrical aspect to the company.”
One of Rick W’s. most memorable projects was a creative challenge.
“We did a permanent installation for a magician on the Strip and really had to get creative with that one.”
What Rick W. loves most about the team?
“Everyone pitches in, whether it’s fabricating a special product or working on an event, handling an order or quote, or helping on-site when things change. Everyone puts their heads together and comes together as a team to get things done and make our clients happy, producing an event that looks great.”
Conclusion: More Than Just Events, It’s a Team Effort
At Turn of Events Productions, our success isn’t just about beautiful drapes and décor, it’s about the people who make it all happen. From the careful stitching of a 40-foot drape to navigating Las Vegas traffic in triple-digit heat, every member of our team plays a crucial role in ensuring your event is seamless, stunning, and stress-free.
So the next time you see one of our perfectly pleated backdrops or custom décor pieces on display, remember: there’s a hardworking team behind it, making sure every fold, every delivery, and every moment is just right.
What is Color Psychology?
Color isn’t just something we see, it’s something we feel. From the soft pastels of a spring wedding to the bold reds of a romantic dinner, color plays a powerful role in shaping how we experience the world around us. This concept is known as color psychology, the study of how color affects mood, behavior, and perception. But what exactly does that mean for your next event?

Wrapping Up
Sidelines to Center Stage: Sports-Themed Events & Décor in Las Vegas
In Las Vegas, ordinary doesn’t cut it. If you’re planning an event that actually turns heads, it all comes down to the details—and nothing hits harder than killer aesthetics. This city thrives on spectacle, luxury, and nonstop energy, so your event better bring it. Whether it’s a wedding, a gala, or a full-throttle sports bash, the right décor doesn’t just set the scene—it transforms it.
And lately, no theme has taken center stage in Las Vegas quite like sports.
From the rise of professional teams to the influx of major global sporting events, Vegas has become a thriving hub for sports fans, athletes, and corporate sponsors. It’s not just about the games anymore—it’s about the experiences built around them. And with the right combination of pipe and drape, lighting, and creative styling, those experiences can come to life in unforgettable ways.
Las Vegas is Now a Sports Capital
In just the past decade, Las Vegas has gone from having zero pro teams to hosting some of the biggest names in sports. The Las Vegas Raiders, Vegas Golden Knights, and Las Vegas Aces have captured the city’s heart—and trophies to match. Meanwhile, international events like Formula 1, UFC championships, and the Super Bowl have turned the city into a global sports destination.
This momentum isn’t just impacting the arenas—it’s transforming the city’s event industry. Whether it’s corporate hospitality during a big game weekend, watch parties for loyal fan bases, or charity events hosted by sports foundations, the demand for sports-themed décor has never been higher.
Designing for the Win – Sports-Themed Drapery & Décor
In a town where presentation is everything, event décor in Las Vegas must go above and beyond. That’s especially true when sports are involved.
At Turn of Events Productions, we know that creating an unforgettable sports event means going beyond a logo on a banner. It’s about crafting an environment that radiates energy, excitement, and team spirit. Pipe and drape plays a major role in this transformation.
With custom drapery in team colors—like silver and black for the Raiders, gold and steel gray for the Golden Knights, or vibrant red for UFC weekends—you can instantly brand your event and set the tone. Drapery styles like Crushed Velvet, Austrian Swags, or Sheer Voile offer different textures and moods, from bold and dramatic to upscale and elegant.
Add in layers like:
-LED lighting to reflect team colors or game-day vibes
-Branded backdrops for photo ops and press walls
-Custom signage and floor wraps for sponsor activations
-Thematic props (think turf, stadium seating, or sports memorabilia)
The result? A space that feels like part of the action, whether your guests are fans, clients, or athletes themselves.
Versatility for All Types of Sports Events
One of the biggest advantages of using pipe and drape for event design is its flexibility. Whether you’re working with a hotel ballroom, a conference center, an outdoor rooftop, or even a stadium suite, the right drapery setup allows you to customize the space for your specific event type.
Here’s how we help bring different sports experiences to life:
-Watch Parties: Dramatic uplighting and color-blocked drapery create excitement and intimacy.
-Corporate Hospitality Suites: Elegant draping and branded signage add polish and exclusivity.
-Athlete Meet-and-Greets: Pipe and drape allows for secure, photo-ready VIP lounges.
-Charity Galas: Blend luxury with team pride using soft lighting and high-end finishes.
-Tailgate-Inspired Receptions: Transform indoor venues into dynamic, open-air experiences with props and industrial-style drape.
No matter the setting, event drapery rentals in Las Vegas help create a seamless and immersive atmosphere that matches the energy of the sport.

California 2.0?
02/25/25
Times have changed. With the change, there has been a shift to traditional TV and Film locations. The west coast, specifically California, has been the go to location for years. Currently, there has been a shift and Vegas has been one of the cities in the country that has become a destination for the TV and Film industries. From Ball Rooms to the Convention Center and Sports Arenas, Las Vegas has the space for your next TV/Film shoot.
Why Las Vegas you ask?
Las Vegas is undoubtedly the Casino capital of the country and some may say the world. While the pandemic has put a limit to the number of people on the tables, it is calling attention to another popular part of the property, the ballroom. Traditionally used for meetings, now more and more party scenes are filmed within the space. It allows for proper social distancing as most rooms have enough space to create temporary rooms using Rental Drapery.
The Convention Center with over 1.9 million square feet, is a perfect destination when raw square footage is all you need. The home of CES for over 50 years, the Las Vegas Convention center is a versatile space. From great pic points for chandeliers and ceiling treatments to multiple room configurations that can be created with Pipe Pocket Drapery and ground supported hardware, the Vegas convention center provides options that most venues just cannot.
Need an arena or stadium shot? Las Vegas has over 10 stadium/arenas for you to choose from. The Allegiant is the newest arena in Las Vegas, it is also the home of the Raiders, UNLV Rebels and the Las Vegas Bowl. With a maximum capacity of 72,000 and construction cost of $1.84 billion, The Allegiant is a state-of-the-art facility that undoubtedly meets your needs. Monday Night Football is scheduled to be the first event on 9/21/20. From custom colored seat covers, to custom drapes for the suites, local Las Vegas suppliers can support your needs and provide quick turn around times. No need to contact your traditional Los Angeles drapery and print supplier. Turn of Events Productions is your one stop shop for all things fabric and drapery related.
What is available in Las Vegas?
Once upon a time, you would not think of Vegas as a place that was production friendly or home to local services like Rental Drapery or Professional Fabric Swag installations. Good News, those services and much more can now be “locally sourced” in Vegas.
The Las Vegas venues have had a demand for highly qualified seamstresses for many years. That has been the catalyst for companies like Turn of Events Productions to setup up shop and support the local seamstress community. In need of a custom drop, cyc, stage curtain or another theatrical curtain? You do not need to order from your city’s local supplier and pack it with the rest of your gear. Having to pay high shipping cost to get a kabuki drop made in LA, nonsense, we have the capability to provide you with an array of custom theatrical drapery with minimal turnaround time.
One of Hollywood’s darlings is rental drapery. Rentals provides the budget friendly solution that many TV/Film shoots need. Furniture, décor, scenic elements, structures, projection screens etc. can all be locally rented in Vegas. At Turn of Events Productions, we also have professional installers with rigging experience, this helps eliminate the travel and entertainment line item that out of town providers must charge. Need the glitz and glamour of a Chain Curtain or Bead Curtain, we have it in stock in many heights and configurations. Maybe your production requires a chandelier or beaded column those are also in stock. Turn of Events Productions is your rental supplier for Gold drapery and scenic elements.
Thru the years, Las Vegas became the main destination for many tradeshows and corporate events. The demand for printing was born. Vegas is now home to some of the largest print companies in the country. Standard Step and Repeats, complex custom drops and everything in between can be locally sourced in Vegas. Rental frames and lightboxes with custom prints are also a phone call away. With an extensive background in fabrics and custom applications, do not hesitate to call us for your next project, you will not be disappointed.
Professional rigging and installation are critical to any production. For years, companies flew crew in for all of their theatrical installation needs. That is no longer necessary, union and non-union talent is a phone call away. Need a ground supported installation at 24’ high or need to fly a custom piece 40 or 50 feet in the air either is possible with your local Las Vegas resource for all things drapery, Turn of Events Productions. Known for being able to put up 1000 feet of drape in less than 6 hours, we pride ourselves in making sure we execute the project safely and well within budget. Unlike others we are local and know the venues, when you hire us you will not be worried about your drape falling because someone opened the loading doc. Our hardware and install techniques are unparalleled in the market. Ask for an A Base install and be amazed by our patented hardware capability.
Need Duve (duvetyne)? Projection screen material or maybe a basic velour. All is available locally. With 30+ years of experience in the theatrical drapery market our team knows exactly what fabrics meet your projects needs. For years we worked in the LA market and supplied all designers with their fabrics. Now when you travel to Vegas you have the same level of experience (and the same person) available to help with your next project. Meshes, Muslins, Canvas, Tension, Velour, Expendables, Lighting and much more are all locally available to you when you are in Las Vegas.
Taking your show on the road was once a crazy and costly idea. When you come to Vegas, you can now rest assured that you have local resources that can assist you in the execution of your production. Turn of Events Productions and others have been servicing the trade show and corporate meeting market for years. While Exhibits are not a film shoot, our background and experience are from the TV and Film industry and we have not lost a step. Reach out and do not be surprised when you not only get a familiar voice on the other end but someone with the knowledge and experience you thought was only available to you in your local market.
